Film Openings - Goodfella's

The start of the film shows that Warner Bros present the film. It shows many different title sequences including the presenters, actors and who produced it. At the start of the clip there is a close up of the three men in the car. Also there are a couple more close ups during the opening. There is also a establishing wide shot of the three men before they open the boot of the car. Also before they open the boot there is a two shot of two of the men standing together. How they use the start of the film to show who presents it and the actors is similar to almost every film, so these are some of the codes and conventions which films share.
